SAS chooses dynamic booking module from Travelmarket

Over several years, Travelmarket has developed a dynamic booking platform, where the travel agencies can choose between many different booking models, combining flights, hotel, car rental, travel insurance, etc. into dynamic package tours which they can sell through their websites. Many large travel agencies throughout Scandinavia use booking software from Travelmarket, including the Danish State Railways’ travel agency, Krone Rejser, flyrejser.dk, etc.

Travelmarket was one of seven companies competing to supply a booking module for SAS and it is the first time Travelmarket’s booking platform is used by an airline. However, airlines are a very interesting segment for Travelmarket, both in Denmark and on new international markets, as the booking platform can be individually adapted to each airline’s routes and offers.

The booking module is expected to be launched at sas.dk in mid-April and the agreement will not affect Travelmarket’s expected turnover or result in the current financial year, 1 July 2007-30 June 2008.
